Tailored to the wishes and needs of your group, various thematic focuses can be arranged upon request.
Interactive tours for children
For school classes and adult groups with children and/or teenagers, the Pottery Museum offers two interactive programs:
- The Chinese Basket
- The Pottery Game
In these tours, participants can actively take part and search for the hidden stories behind the exhibits. Please note that the second offer is currently only available in German.
Pottery workshop
Upon request, a tour can also be combined with a pottery workshop in our in-house studio, allowing you to experience the art of pottery by yourself.
Accessible Offers
For blind and visually impaired visitors, we offer a special tour lasting approximately 90-120 minutes, enabling participants to discover the history of Raeren pottery and Raeren Castle through other senses.
To ensure the quality of the experience, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 10 people (plus accompanying persons).
Hike “In the Footsteps of the Potters”
Explore not only the museum but also the village of Raeren and its surroundings on a guided hike. Along picturesque hiking trails through Raeren’s protected landscape, you will discover historical sites and buildings and learn more about the village’s history.
Information and Prices
- Languages: All tours can be booked in German, French, Dutch, and English upon request.
- Duration: 60 to 90 minutes.
- Number of participants: Maximum 25 people per group. For larger groups, it may be possible to organize parallel tours for 2-3 groups.
- Cost: €50 per tour + €3 entry per person. A pottery demonstration costs an additional €100 + €3 firing fee per person.
